Tack Coat
Info
ACP-DMT Bituminous Tack Coat is a thin layer of bituminous liquid asphalt used to provide bonding for old and new asphalt layers. The proper application of tack coat may increase the strength of pavement structure. A loss of bond between hot mix asphalt may result in crescent-shaped slippage cracks or debonding that leads to reduced pavement life.

Prime Coat
Info
ACP-DMT Bituminous Prime Coat is an application of a low viscosity asphalt to a granular base in preparation for an initial layer (or a surface course layer) of asphalt and it helps to reduce dust.
In the case of a base, which is to be covered with a thin hot mix layer or a chip seal for low volume roadway, priming ensures a good bond between the seal and the underlying surface which otherwise would have tendency to delamite.
