Tack Coat

Info
AlloyMTD DJ Bituminous Tack Coat is a thin layer of bituminous liquid asphalt used to provide bonding for old and new asphalt layers. The proper application of tack coat may increase the strength of pavement structure. A loss of bond between hot mix asphalt may result in crescent-shaped slippage cracks or debonding that leads to reduced pavement life.
Features
  1. High quality products
  2. Wide range of Cationic grade
  3. Manufactured according to MS 164:1994, BS 434 BS 434-1 (1984), ASTM D397
  4. Competitive pricing
Manufactured according to :
  1. Malaysia Standard – MS 164:1994 – Specification for Cationic Bitumen Emulsion for Use in Pavement Applications
  2. British Standard – BS 434 BS 434-1 (1984) - Specification For Bitumen Road Emulsions
  3. American Standard ASTM D397

Prime Coat

Info
AlloyMTD DJ Bituminous Prime Coat is an application of a low viscosity asphalt to a granular base in preparation for an initial layer (or a surface course layer) of asphalt and it helps to reduce dust.

In the case of a base, which is to be covered with a thin hot mix layer or a chip seal for low volume roadway, priming ensures a good bond between the seal and the underlying surface which otherwise would have tendency to delamite.
